REFUND POLICY
The policy of the North Hills Youth Basketball program is to issue no refunds after a child has played in a sanctioned game.
Prior to playing in a sanctioned game a refund of the registration fee less an administrative handling fee will be issued.
If a uniform has already been ordered for the player, a refund of the registration fee less the administrative fee and the cost of the uniform will be issued.
Due to the pandemic, there is always the possibility the season may need to be abbreviated, paused, or cancelled. In the event of any type of closure due to the pandemic, NHYB will communicate an updated policy. Uniforms will not be able to be returned despite any closures and therefor the cost of the uniform will not be refunded.
Winter Weather Policy:
If NHSD closes school, the buildings are closed and no practices/games will be held. This is usually communicated on the NHSD website and local news channels.
If NHSD cancels afterschool/evening activities, the buildings are closed and no practices/games will be held. This is usually communicated on the NHSD website and local news channels.
If NHSD does NOT close the buildings, but the weather conditions are poor, we rely on coaches and parents to use their best judgement when considering attending practices. NHYB will not be able to cancel and communicate via email or on the website in a timely manner. There are instances where the board members are not available or in the NHSD area to make the adjustments.
Please know how your coach plans to communicate cancellations for weather or illness (email, group chat, GC app). We will attempt to reschedule any cancellations, however with limited gym time, it is not always possible.
IF there is a cancellation of games on a Saturday, we will communicate if we are able to reschedule.
NHYB will follow all NHSD health and safety protocols.
NHYB reserves the right to limit registration as needed.
